Network Activities

In order to bridge the gap between human and veterinary science and technology, Immuno Valley organizes theme-related meetings. This facilitates sharing of technology and know-how. Recent theme-meetings are:

  • Q-fever epidemiology and control
  • Diagnostic tools and assay development
  • Intestinal immunity and models to study intestinal health  

Immuno Valley has the mission to stimulate and enhance the commercialization of knowledge in the field. This can be partly achieved by intensify the contacts between knowledge institutions and industry. Representatives of both have met on BioBusiness Event June 2009, Almere, The Netherlands, where the central theme of the Immuno Valley program was “Critical success factors in strategic alliances”.
